Bibeau comes off bench to lead road warrior Redmen in key win over Gaiters

Simon Bibeau of St. Bruno, Que., came off the bench to score 17 points as visiting McGill edged No.9-ranked Bishop's 63-60 in a key men's basketball match-up before a crowd of 423 at the Mitchell Gymnasium, Wednesday.
It was the second consecutive win for McGill, which was knocked out of the national rankings this week but improved to 5-2 and moved into a tie with the Gaiters (5-2) atop the RSEQ standings. The result also put an end to the Bishop's five-game win streak.
Bibeau, who returned to the lineup in mid-November after missing all of last year recovering from knee surgery, saw 30 minutes of court time and produced his best offensive output of the season. He made six of nine shots from the floor, including a stellar 5-for-7 performance from three-point range. The 6-foot-3 junior guard was also credited with a pair of steals and a rebound.
