McGill player Ravensbergen ranked as 6th best lineman at CFL Combines camp

In preparation for the upcoming Canadian Football League college draft, the annual CFL Combines player evaluation camp was held in Toronto, March 22-24, where the top 50 Canadian prospects were put through medicals, interviews, testing and fitness drills under the watchful eyes of general managers, coaches and scouts.
McGill’s only draft-eligible invitee was Robert Ravensbergen, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound native of Montreal, who posted the sixth-fastest time among the 10 offensive linemen in the 40-yard dash, clocking in at 5.80 seconds. The 21-year-old history senior was also sixth in the bench press (14 reps), sixth in the vertical jump (24.5 inches), sixth in the broad jump (8 feet, 3.50 inches), sixth in the shuttle run (4.95 seconds), sixth in the three-cone drill (8.33 seconds).
On Saturday the players' strength, athleticism and flexibility was tested at the Park Hyatt Toronto Hotel. The camp finished on Sunday at the Varsity Centre football field on the University of Toronto downtown campus.
The first round of the CFL draft is slated to be telecast live by TSN on May 6 at 12 noon.
